haha old Jimmy. He was a stud. Things just didn't work out at ISU and then he had a stint at Nebraska when that whole Neuman thing went on. Riverside was stacked back in the day. Jimmy is actually still involved with wrestling in the area. He sells wrestling clothing apparel.

Good to know. My wrestling family and friends got a lot of mileage out of my raving about Jimmy Rodgers! To this day, we will have some conversation about past Hawkeyes or in-state H.S. greats, and invariably one of the last lines is (while looking at me with a nod) ...................and of course Jimmy Rodgers! LOL!
