Of course the Heritage Foundation has been an influence for the GOP, but Trump isn’t out there saying to support 2025
Your point would be more accurate if you had chosen a domestic liberal think-tank with decades of close influence over the DNC party platform. They definitely exist and are a decent barometer of where the party sits, just as the HF has been for the GOP since Ronald Regan was in the White House.
But, I get the feeling you've purposefully built this strawman to avoid admitting that the HF is actually quite involved with the GOP and has substantial influence over policy.

Only one campaign reeks of desperation. It's the one that labels the other partys vp candidate as weird, the one trying to tie a candidate to a position paper (wish list) by a conservative think tank, the one working overtime to make their very unlikable candidate buzzworthy, and the one actively trying to scrub the internet of all of her prior positions on key issues that put her decidedly way to the left of all but 30% of Americans.
Why has she yet to go a single press conference or interview? Because she's very bad at it.

Wishful thinking. If someone was gonna vote Trump 2 weeks ago that hasn't changed. I don't think Trump has or can add new votes. We always knew the media would get on board for Harris, will that be enough to topple Trump in the end? Time will tell.
