Interesting numbers, BUT Luka's overall productivity has jumped so much the last twp years its not really a fair comparison. Most of those guys didn't play as true freshman so in this case Luka's numbers from the first year actually hurt him as an average while in total it puts him at the top. Some guys didn't get to Iowa until they were Juniors like Reggie Evans or Johnny Johnson. The rebound numbers are great as well and are important but you don't win by compliling the most rebounds. In your example Kunnert is 4th and I have Luka above him. I'd look more at efficiency per shots taken, and Luka's got to be close to the top in that.

I just crunched some numbers while watching the games today. I watched most of these players post 1964 and the JC guys were likely the most athletic players we ever had, plus Gerry Jones and Ronnie Lester. Dan Frost gets hardly a mention nor Chad Calabria but Dan helped Lute turn the program around along with Cal Wulfsberg...
