Is that former Indiana coach Mike Davis? Or someone else with the same name?

The IU coach was pretty decent and had a good career at smaller schools after leaving IU, just not good enough for the Hoosier’s champagne taste. But he was the right guy for the job after they had to fire Knight as he stayed out of trouble and kept the program clean until IU sold their soul to hire Kelvin Sampson.

Yep, the same Mike Davis (ex-IU coach) that also took a Texas Southern team to Lansing to win a game in OT in 2014.
