Mt Northern pbp

The fans were great. Not much on booing at all from this bunch of big sky folks. They took a mollywhopping and were great sports. Brody mingled with the crowd and kissed a couple babies. Said the cut was going good. And let my wife get a picture. They were honored to have the Hawkeyes in town and the billboards showed it.

Gotta give credit to those guys. They fought harder than Northwestern did to be honest. You know they loved it even when they were getting their tails kicked. Hwt got stuck and got up smiling and lead the way through the handshake line. Good for Iowa / Terry for lining this up. Win for Iowa...bigger win for wrestling in the state of Montana.

JPW #3 does NOT approve this Post!

I don't suppose there's a REPLAY ? RS SR Toby Cheff was 20 - 1 last year finished 3rd at HWT (10 pins) Ranked 2 currently NAIA. Nice domination by Stoll.

I talked to Toby after the match. He was pretty dominant in high school ( for out here anyway). He said that he really wanted to throw Sollhouse, but was able to deal with his size he said with a smile. I think he really was grateful to get the chance.

Thanks for the insider report. Lots of talk from Brands / McD about how well received the team was on this barnstorming tour. McD liked how they were welcomed rather than given the cold shoulder. Even Anakin didn't spend the whole time on the dark side. Also, mentioned was how traveling can bring a team together.

Now, if you come on later today and post about "Brands and The Fun Bunch" having a wiffle ball / dodgeball game, this board might explode.

Awesome work, as always, Vall! Thanks for the read -- just got a chance to go through it.

I have to add, though, that this team seems to be having way too much fun. What ever happened to the Iowa wrestling tradition of having no fun whatsoever? If our guys aren't miserable, Tom isn't doing his job, as far as I'm concerned.
