I have been thinking about this all day and it seems to me that Brian Ferentz has given Nate to much to think about in his pre snap reads. Nate is a smart kid but when the ball is snapped his brain seems to shut down in other words his cup is to full to absorb anymore information. Nothing illustrates this more than the 2nd to last drive on the goal line. 1st and 10 on the 3, 4 downs to punch it in clock not a factor and Nate is at the line of scrimmage jumping around trying to change the play? That's as about as low IQ QB play you can get, it would be hard for even a high schooler to mess that situation up. Brian Ferentz needs to strip away some of the pre snap responsibility from Nate and just let him play ball. Nate is using all his brain power pre snap and running on brain empty as the ball is snapped. Just my opinion.
