My starting Lineup for today vs the Twerps

Would love to see Kreiner start. Would really give him a jolt of confidence.

Did you happen to NOTICE how Nick Baer started the 2nd half vs Indiana??

Did you notice how the Hawkeyes won that half?

Do you like WINNING ???

first off its Nicholas not Nick.

I'm assuming we are just playing here...if not don't bother replying.

I also noticed that CW & RK had a little something to do with it as well...having said that would have no problem with N I C H O L A S starting the game. For selfish reasons...I'm hoping Baer gets a chance to win the B1G 6th Man of the Year.

We need our best 3PT shooters on the floor from the start. For that reason......

1 Bohannon must start
2 Jok, of course
3 Moss - hope he nails his first one and feels it
4 Baer - I prefer him off the bench also but he can knock down 3s (and he brings more than Uhl);
5 Cook

6 Ellingson - first off the bench for Moss if he is struggling early.
7 Williams to rest Bohannon then go with the hot hand or play both if they are both playing well.

I'm probably short changing DomU - hope he goes on a run one of these games.

I believe Baer should continue to be the sixth man. He gets so psyched that he will run out of energy quickly as a starter. Let him watch the start and flow of the game and put him in when we need that extra boost.

I've had a hard time adjusting to Maryland now being one of our rivals. In the 1972/73 season it was my good fortune to attend 3 Terp games (North Carolina, NC State and Duke) at Cole Fieldhouse and one away game at Georgetown. At that time Georgetown had a terrible basketball program and played in a gym that held less people than most class 1-A high school programs in Iowa. Saw David Thompson, Tom McMillan, Len Elmore, John Lucas (he was a freshman) and other NBA level players. Fell in love with the terps and since Iowa was in another conference, it did little to impact my love of my home state Hawks. I still have just this little spot in me that roots for the Terps. Go Hawks.
