Supposedly his wingspan is only average but that doesn't take into account his narrow shoulders. His standing reach has to be above average for his height."He has short arms" - this guy knows nothing about Uthoff.

I looked at last year's draft combine numbers and I couldn't find anyone that was 6'9" or above that had a shorter wingspan than Uthoff. But as I said earlier he has narrow shoulders not necessarily short arms.Jarrod measured 6'9.5'' in shoes, with a 6'10.5''wingspan and 216 lbs at the 2015 Nike Basketball Academy. July 3, 2015
Uhl, Williams, Hutton, and Jones all have longer wingspan than does Jarrod.
Just saying.
I was thinking the same when I heard the announcer say that.I was surprised last night to hear one of the announcers say "if I was an NBA team drafting in the 2nd round, I would be taking a close look at Jarrod Uthoff" and all I could think was... dude, he'll be off the board by the 2nd round.
This. It kills me that people paid to do draft analysis think his arm length is a negative. NBA wingspan is measured from the tip of one finger to the other. So a guy with narrow shoulders like Uthoff doesn't come up with great measurables, but I guarantee you if they measured the length of one arm from the finger tip to the armpit they'd find he has extraordinarily long arms. And that is the measurement that counts. Anyone that watches him play notices right away his ability to block shots and his reach are exceptional. Just lazy analysis to think his arms are short.I looked at last year's draft combine numbers and I couldn't find anyone that was 6'9" or above that had a shorter wingspan than Uthoff. But as I said earlier he has narrow shoulders not necessarily short arms.
That was Obumma's husband's brother who said that and yes, I too was thinking that he is crazy. Why would you pick some foreign 7 foot project whose name is unpronouncable over a proven player who can do multiple things?I was surprised last night to hear one of the announcers say "if I was an NBA team drafting in the 2nd round, I would be taking a close look at Jarrod Uthoff" and all I could think was... dude, he'll be off the board by the 2nd round.

Craig Robinson is an idiot. No wonder he was fired from Oregon State.President Barack Obama has a husband? I knew he is socially liberal but hadn't heard that one
And yes, that was Obama's brother-in-law and he is dead wrong. I'd be stunned if Uthoff didn't go in the first round.
LOL, let me have my fun guys. And I'm neither Dem or Rep. I'll try and save my jabs for the OT page from now on.
