Does anyone have experience with ordering NBA League Pass? I am going to get it (want to watch some Sacramento games) but the NBA.com site is vague and offers little information on how I will access it. Do I watch it through Amazon? DISH?

Thanks for any help.

Not totally sure but I looked at it the other day and was very surprised there is like 6 teams blacked out for the state of Iowa on NBA league pass… even though I have to drive 10+ hours to see most of them… so that was a big NO to obtaining that package.

I agree that the black outs are ridiculous. I guess I could understand blacking out weekend games, but am I expected to travel to Minnesota, Chicago or Indiana on a weeknight to watch in-person?

We get almost all of the T-Wolves and Bulls games on Hulu. Probably 75 of each.

And for the OP, if you plan on watching a lot of NBA games, League Pass is worth it. I watch all or parts of probably 10+ games per week (hard to watch full west coast games). Plus, I'm a Celtics fan, so I get all of those.

I have league pass and it’s only $99 and it’s fantastic. You can watch it on the app on any TV or computer. I have DTV so I get it through there and have all the Bally sports for “local” games.

If you gamble, On FanDuel sportsbook they have a promo that if you bet $5 on an nba game you get league pass for free for 3 months

I've bought league pass through DirecTV for years then YouTube TV the past theee seasons. Not sure how it works for Dish or Amazon.

Either way, purchase it.

What teams are blacked out? I have an all-access pass so none get blacked out on mine, but seems dumb that more than 1-2 would be blacked out in Iowa.

The NBA playoffs are REALLY good. The regular season can be tougher for me to enjoy with all of the missed games with load management. That’s my biggest complaint.

I get it if you have your team, but I have a theory that anyone who is an NBA fan and will watch a random game on a Tuesday is really just an asshole.

Just 3 teams blacked out; Bulls, Pacers and Timberwolves, in my zip code.

But I find it ironic the Bucks aren’t blacked out; which is a lot closer than Indy and about the same drive as Chicago. And also Thunder is the same drive time as Indianapolis.
