NCAA Super Regionals - Road to the CWS

Some different teams have a chance for Omaha and I am pulling for them instead of the same SEC/ACC teams each year.

Texas Tech/College of Charleston is one Super
TCU/Pepperdine

Louisana-Lafayette vs Ole Miss
Kennsaw State vs Louisville

I know some of the teams have made the CWS before but they aren't every year teams. It will be tough, but I think it'd be nice to see College of Charleston, Pepperdine, LA-Lafayette, Kennesaw State all make it to Omaha. Also throw in Houston if they beat LSU tonight.

Really bummed Indiana didn't get in; I love Tracy Smith. Like you, I'm pulling for the underdogs this weekend in the supers. Is it too early to claim Maryland as a B1G team?

Can't believe Indiana lost after watching them at the BTT. They are tough with the bats. I am with you guys though, love to see some new blood in the CWS.

Day One - Saturday, June 14
UC-Irvine (40-23) vs. Texas (43-19) - 2:00 p.m (ESPN2)
Louisville (50-15) vs. Vanderbilt (46-19) - 7:00 p.m. (ESPN2)

Day Two - Sunday, June 15
Texas Tech (45-19) vs. Texas Christian (47-16) - 2:00 p.m. (ESPN2)
Mississippi (50-19) vs. Virginia (49-14) - 7:00 p.m. (ESPN2)

I've always preferred opening weekend to the championship weekend because it seems like more of a party. I think TCU the championship series is going to come down to TCU and Vanderbilt.
