Cass beat Schultz last year and Parris doesn’t look the same as he has so I like Cass to beat either.
Drake with the 13 seed. Win and he gets Courtney from Arizona St
Hildebrandt gets 16 seed. Would get Suriano in the 2nd round
Drake vs Fabian Gutierrez of Chattanooga 1st round
Desanto gets the 5 seed. Weird. Korbin Myers is 4. Means Fix is 2 and McGee is 3. I like it
Nick Lee is 1. Real Woods is 4. Eierman will be 2 or 3
Maybe not grounded in reality, but i think ADS has a better shot of beating RBY than Fix.. RBY (somehow) is doing less and less each match.. ADS outwrestled him for 6:54 of each of their last two matches.
I wonder if ADS will get votes for MOW when he beats RBY and Fix to win the title... Of course, it is probably Cass's to lose after beating Wood, Schultz/Parris and then shocking the world against GS

The Elo difference between ADS (3-1600) and Myers (4-1532) is the same as Myers and Paetzell (12-1467). ADS lost only to RBY and Fix, Zero justification for ADS being lower than 3, or at worst 4. Oh well, he had to beat them anyway. Where did Byrd end up?

Really punished some guys for not wrestling a lot before the conference tourney. Young with the 9, Berge with the 12 after beating Young twice. I can only imagine the meltdown on BWI. I think these seeds are as good as we could have hope for. The Bull v O’Toole scares the sh*t outta me. Keegan is like Hamiti with more experience
The only one that's really in a killer situation is Kemerer.

125- Drake only faces McKee (8) or Suriano in the semis (at least on the frontside). Before that, hes likely got Courtney (did he bring his running shoes again this year?) and could meet Heinselman, who got the 12 or Cardinale in quarters
133- ADS over RBY in Semis, fix in finals. The last couple matches it looked like ADS was working through something, or just trying to wrestle like he was prepping for RBY. I hope he wrecks guys in the first 3 rounds.
141 - Hopefully Riddler and his knee can hold up until and through Seabass in the semis
149-Gfell, then Yianni..
157- Zapf (penn), then Lewan, then Carr
165- Amine, then Karchla Or O'Toole. This bracket is bonkers.. Wick is the top seed, Griffith the 5. Hamiti the 4
174- Second round against Iowan devos, then Hidlay, Then likely Star in Semis. Lewis or Massa in finals?
184 - As mentioned, gonna have to shock Brooks in 2nd round, or make hay on the backside
197- Warner a whisker away from the 3 seed, but 6 seed really not much different. 2nd round vs Penola, then revenge against Schultz.. Buchanan of Wyoming after that, then Dean in finals? Only gets Dean or Brucki, no Caffey or front side. Yonger Bastida got the 10.

Seeds for the hawks aren’t really that bad. Couple guys we knew we’re gonna have to do work on the back side may get there early. Outside of their hammers psu is gonna have a lot on backside early as well. Michigan certainly helped themselves by with B1G.
No desanto beat the brakes off Myers last year. Great spot for desanto!!!

He should be the 3 seed, but I like his path at the 5 better so looks good to me.
My thoughts on the draws…
125- Ayala: Not terrible. Avoided Suriano, Vito, or Glory in 2nd round. Decent back side draw. See us getting to the blood round here with a winnable match.
133- Desanto: kind of a tough draw but for one of our best kids. Will run into Phillipi before the quarters and then Meyers in the quarters. Don’t hate the matchups just tougher kids who have had some success. Get RBY in semis. Rather have RBY than Fix I believe so not bad there. Need to win those tough ones to make it anyways.
141- Eierman: like this draw. Nothing crazy early and get our matchup with Rivera in semis.
149- Murin: Think we make it through to the semis, lose to Yianni and have a very winnable match to AA.
157-Young: Not too bad. Tough matchup with Lewan but think we get past it and get sent to backside by Carr. Getting potentially the loser of O’Connor and Franek worries me… hope it’s Franek.
165 Marinelli: Best draw Bull has probably ever gotten into the semis IMO, tough semi but they all are.
174: Kemerer Tough draw here. Having to go through Hidlay in the quarters and than Starocci in semis is rough. Just a tough weight class.
184- Not a great seed and not a good draw going into Bolen then Brooks. Backside will be pretty tough. I think it might be an easier backside draw to place if we lose first round.
197- pretty standard draw. Don’t think it’s too bad at all. Think they are all winnable.
285- another average draw. Wood in quarters and Schultz/Parris in semis. Just happy to be away from Gable.
Overall, I don’t mind out draws. 133 and 174 will both be tough but they are two of our best wrestlers so gotta get the job done anyways.
