Desanto the obvious 3 seed at 5. He was asked about it. He said "whats seeding? when do I get to wrestle?" Well, not really but that is what I picture him saying.
Does anyone know where I can attend these classes? If I remember correctly I was impressed with the athleticism of the Air force 285 ater he won Big 12 he did a Kip up. Never seen such a big guy do that. Can any of you do it?
P.S. She has such good form doesn't she?![]()
Now we just need a surprise John Cena esque Royal Rumble surprise return for Spencer Lee at Nationals and we'll be golden! My thoughts on seeds (A = favorable seed, F = unfavorable seed):
125 - B, avoided the top 3, but not expecting many points here anyway
133 - C+, tough competitors in rd of 16 and quarters, but not worried about Austin. Would rather have RBY in semis than Fix
141 - B, I guess we'll see who is more injured when/if he wrestles Rivera.
149 - C+, the only person to avoid at all costs is Yianni, and got stuck in his quarter. Just need someone in the 2 to 7 range to drop out. =) Still like chances to AA.
157 - B, lot's of land mines in the draw, so can't complain. Hopefully he avoids Berge on the back side.
165 - A, best draw since his redshirt freshman year. Let's do it!
174 - C, tough quarter against Hidley, but better than getting Nolf in the quarters like he did last time he MFF'd out of big 10s. I think Kem is the best at this weight if healthy. Fine facing Starocci in the semis rather than the finals.
184 - C, but he earned it. I'm hoping for the best. Agree with other posters...just go for it.
197 - A-, Warner must be thinking he can beat all these guys in his way. He can.
285 - A-, got on the opposite side of Gable, which was priority 1-A. Would rather face Kirkvliet than Parris obviously, but happy Kirk can get to wrestle Gable on the other side so wouldn't change it.
All in all I was happy with the seeds.
I guess this is what we are looking for and need to have a better understanding of, in order to enjoy today’s style. I prefer action and fur flying.Agree. I get the impression guys tend to get muffled into a style of positioning and hand fighting which while important I feel could be done in a less restrictive way.
I agree, we spend all day hand fighting and positioning to hit that clean shot but since both guys are doing this it's rarely there or people don't pull the trigger for fear of getting countered. I'll say Gomez and Hamiti are 2 guys who are not afraid to get to their shots.I guess this is what we are looking for and need to have a better understanding of, in order to enjoy today’s style. I prefer action and fur flying.
