He was up 20-8 before the fall I believe. He was up 2-0 after first period at least following along on Track Wrestling.

I thought...Brown is hanging with him pretty good. Broke after the second period started

I absolutely love the relentless pressure. He is breaking pretty much everyone he wrestles.

He is not afraid in his mind that he will run out of gas. That is the key.

Reminds me of the movie Gattaca. Two bothers one genetically created to be superior to the other would swim out into the water in a game of chicken to see who would turn back sooner. The "inferior" one would always turn back first until one last race when he won. Years later when asked by the "superior" brother how he was able to win he simply said that he never saved anything for the swim back. He freed his mind from that restriction.

watched him up close yesterday. unbelievable motor. Its absolutely remarkable how he gets after it. This is our way to get a scholly level wrestler for free. Give Terry a $50,000 raise per year above whatever his normal raise would be and, after taxes, that should about cover the tuition and room and board. He is like a honey badger, doesn't care if he gets himself taken down. Just won't let up. The only analogy other than honey badger I can think of is a police dog going after someone. They get the guys leg and that is all they focus on. World War 3 could be going on around them and all they can do is focus on that leg.

He may be better than most of the Illinois kids but they would not surrender that many takedowns. Ask O'Connor.

I'm a fan of head Coach Josh Oster and a lot of his kids but Lockport ain't no OPRF. Montini is close.
Fun fact:
Every kid currently in OPRF's program has been part of a machine that has yet failed to produce them an Illinois 3A state team title since they've been enrolled there. Outside of a couple kid's that have transferred out no other high school kid in the world has ever won an Illinois 3A state team title. Almost UConn WBB like :D

I pulled a Pat Riley and own the rights to the

tee shirts I expect to hand out to our seniors the weekend after next.

You didn't have those shirts made tho did you? Lol I'm just giving you a hard time.

I'm happy for Lockport as I know the job Oster has done with them. Very solid team from top to bottom. 28-0 in duals is a hell of an accomplishment. I expect Montini to go on a little run here in the future though

Nelson spoke about getting bigger after the final. Is there thought he might be 165 or 174 by college? How tall is he?

Not that tall, maybe 5'6"-5'8" range based on my very unscientific measurement...he looks like short 57lbr unless he's got a growth spurt in his future...
