I think most of us just want to hire the best person for the job. Regardless of race or sex. If you are passing up a person because of their race or sex, it’s wrong either way.
Why do you think people don't care as much about race or sex now than they did in the past?

Trump was very complimentary of Zalensky and Ukraine throughout but made it very clear that instead of continuing to simply hand over 100’s of billions of dollars, he wants to bring peace to the area as a mediator. Zalensky made it clear he doesn’t want peace and calls out Vance for his views on diplomacy and then decides to seemingly threaten the US in the Oval Office that we will feel the consequences if we don’t continue to fork over endless billions of dollars to fight a war while also completely slow playing and delaying signing a minerals agreement that would help the US recoup billions that we have spent to help Ukraine. This ashames you to be an American that our POTUS wasn’t putting up with the public litigation Zalensky was trying to display?

Zalensky has made it clear he wants to continue getting money and is not entertaining Trump’s desire to make a peace deal. Zalensky played quite a large role in the conversation, also.
Unfortunately, a new third party that is moderate would split the Dems into to voting blocks of 30% while the magot Repubs get enough Indies to have 40% and then we are really in magot shit land by losing more elections.
The Dems do need someone I think more from the middle of the US who can really get the message across. I like Gov Beshears but I have not hear him speak enough to see if he is dynamic enough because so many voters look at image more than substance

I think if there was some common sense social platform wirh the focus on middle class tax cuts, we would get half the republicans to join. All that would be left in the current Republican Party would be pro lifers who refuse compromise and the wealthy

We didn't vote for the "black" lady because she wasn't up to being able to do the job, she proved that during her vice presidency, she couldn't answer basic questions without going into her word salad routine.

No…ideally DEI was meant to provide “equal opportunities/access” to jobs, but then individual quality and merit should come into play.
I think he’s saying just the opposite…that is, in the past, minorities had a harder time getting a “fair shake” in employment opportunities. Whereas, currently employers just want good, reliable workers regardless of race, sex, etc.
