That's the problem with Ferentz...we get absolutely NO national respect because for every good team he beats, he loses to a couple teams he shouldn't. That's why I'm ready to move on. It's not gonna change with him.

This is the sad part. KF apologists hoping for an easy Bowl opponent, so they don't have to look at the Bowl losses that continue to pile up.

Honestly the sad part is guys like you who call people that have a reasonable outlook and great national perspective get called apologists by whiny message board posters....I mean honestly think about that...I really can't imagine anything sadder, when you look at the totality of college football and life in general.

I'll tell you what, you pick a coach and you can even pick Dabo Sweeney or Urban Meyer or Saban and I'll tell you what their fans are saying about them...also constantly bitching... so a guy like you in particular no way in hell would you ever be happy.

You should have seen the Oklahoma fans after they lost to Iowa State. Those kind of fans are just miserable to be around!!

The only team we should not have lost to was Purdue at home. All in all, I would rather lose to Purdue and blow out the Ohio State than the other way around. The line on Iowa at the beginning of the season was 6.6 wins.

We beat the crap out of a final four team. I don't care what anyone outside Iowa thinks. I hope we beat the crap out of them every time we play them. It should tell them that Iowa can hang with anyone when we are on.

Honestly I get the frustration from losing to Northwestern, I can't stand them and I get the frustration of failing miserably against Wisconsin but honestly we were buried in her own territory all game long, a quality punter fixes that and yes the Purdue game was a real stinker....

With that said we played the sixth ranked schedule in the country, we played six teams that won at least nine games, three that won 10+ and we beat 7-5 Iowa State who played a very tough schedule in their own right that beat 2 top five teams.

Sagarin has us as the 22nd best team in the country and we have as much young talent as we've ever had. Catch a few more passes, improve our punting and get our offensive tackles seasoned and everything is up!

so now the national talk is OSU lost to lowly horrible Iowa of all teams. The nation considers us in the same space as Indiana or Purdue.

I think it is great that they are all whining that we kept mighty Urban out of the top 4. Everyone who saw that game knows we wiped the field with them. Go Hawks!
