Next year starters

I'd go with Jbo, Moss, Baer, Cook, and Kreiner. Since I'm starting Baer, Without solid improvement before next season, its going to be hard for players like Uhl, and Wagner to log many minutes.

I'd be willing to bet that Pemsl and Cook are on the floor together, with JBo, Moss and Baer. Cook will be a year stronger and can defend most 5s. Pemsl is easily athletic enough to defend 4s. Baer will have trouble with some 3s, but he'll hold his own. Moss will have to work on his defense so that we don't have scoring guards going off for 25. And Bohannon can stay with most 1s, fortunately there are many insanely athletic PGs in the conference right now.

And that's what it comes down to -- how well can we defend? The scoring will be there, every night.

My main prediction is most of the three minutes get filled my a people considered bigs. The addition of Garza and Nunge really makes the front court almost unworkable unless they can't earn any minutes.

To make the minutes work I think Baer is exclusively at the three with Uhl as his backup. Maybe a very few minutes go to Moss or Williams, but while 3 may seem like a better fit for the two of them the front court time becomes a nightmare.

25 Cook, 15 Pemsl, and that leaves 40 for Garza, Nunge, Kriener, Wagner, Uhl, and Baer. That's not going to happen. The only way to make minutes work IMO is Baer and Uhl at the three.

We're going to have some serious talent on the court next year, because most of these guys will be even better. If somebody doesn't improve, they sit or transfer.

Bohannon
Moss
Baer

Who plays specifically plays the 4 and specifically plays the 5 is dependent on who can shoot from further out. Obviously Cook is going to be in one of these 2 spots, I'm hoping the 4 that can stretch it out to beyond the paint. Kreiner has shown that ability already, so perhaps he plays the 4 with Cook at the 5.

I think there are only two for sure starters next year. Bohannon and Cook. The rest will just depend on development.

However the starters are we will be a better team team next year because of experience gained this year and the quality of the recruits coming in. I fully expect the Hawks to be a top six team in the B1G and return to the NCAA tourney.
