Nick Henrich commits to Nebraska

Nah, Nebraska is a better program, better state, better resources and better fans.

My point was to say if we have a decent coach we beat you guys. You are 1-3 vs Bo. Proves my theory using facts.

When we have a crappy coach you guys got the best of us. Proves my theory.

When we have great coaching we beat you guys silly. See any of our match ups pre us joining the B1G. Proves my theory.

So therefore the question of, where does Frost fall on the spectrum of coaching? That question will tell you how the next year's are going to go.

I believe he is right now at the higher end of the spectrum. He flipped ucf and did a great job at Oregon. He also has been groomed for this...

I know there are a lot of big words in there. So, I'll give you time to look them.

I think you guys are going back to your spot as little brother and it is happening sooner than later.

Dammit, you missed the short bus again. Don’t worry, we can help you find your way back home

I love that they are a better state with better resources. Hell, the US government had to give land away to get people to settle there. Better resources? Apparently not enough to attract and support human beings. All of about 1.8 million of them live there. They are so pathetic they can only support one legislative chamber. They can argue the football angle. Better state, though? They truly are delusional.

Oh another mental giant.Talent had nothing to do with it, the talent was about equal. The difference has been Krik and his staff were better coaches and utilized their talent to their potential. Riley doesn't know how to do this.
keep tellin yourself that! oh yeah looks like you posted at midnight how many busch lites did you have to drink to finally hit that post reply button terdbait!!!

Let’s get something straight, we ain’t playing with Mr. Potato Head anymore. Big dick Scott will take a piece of Kirk’s ass if he wants it.

The days of you playing the school of the blind led by Mike Riley are over.
Normally I ignore posters such as yourself ... Because you are a dime a dozen ... However, I do enjoy when fans (like you) talk as if YOU are the one putting on pads each Saturday afternoon. No, you are simply a FAN. Nothing more, nothing less. I do wonder why some opposing fans choose to spend their time on another team's message board versus having like conversation with their own? Insecurity? Ran out of peanut butter and the dog is outside? I don't know ... It's interesting for sure.

In case there was any confusion, I just want to make sure and clarify that I am not throwin bones 50.

I said this on the Husker board, and it's true: Nebraska needed Heinrich a lot more than Iowa did, and we got him. That's good for us. This would hurt in one direction A LOT more if Heinrich picked Iowa over the Huskers because of the perceived "in state recruiting loss" as well as the fact that he's a damn good linebacker going to play across the border for a school we see every year.

With that said, Iowa will be fine. These battles are fun but each is just a small piece to the much grander puzzle. Frankly, Nebraska needs to start piling up these recruiting wins over Iowa in order to get back to where we want to be. This just adds one more good player to the Husker roster that is very much in need of good players right now.

I don't know exactly what Iowa's or most other B1G program resources are, so I try not to claim that Nebraska is better resourced than other program. I do think Nebraska has plenty of resources and financial commitment to compete with any other program in the country. The package they are offering kids seems to get their attention and factors strongly into their decision. Aside from that, a dick swinging contest about resource richness is silly, IMO.

Not better than Northern Illinois on the field. Lol

This is an Omaha kid......seriously. Iowa does land its share of Omaha kids who end up contributing heavily......however, can't expect them all to cross the river, especially considering this is Husker country. Good luck to the kid and I hope he gets a great education at UNL but loses to the Hawks the next 4 years........ :)

Most likely because nobody on their site likes him?

He's just a lost lil puppy with no home. Maybe big dick scott will let him stay in the closet with him?

Michigan would’ve beat the hell out of that Neb team.
I get that you're just trolling, but not only did Nebraska beat more final ranked Top25 teams, they beat them by a much higher average margin of victory than Michigan did. Michigan had a great defense but a pedestrian offense, while Nebraska was loaded on both sides of the ball. Vegas had NU as the clear favorite for good reason.

1997 Michigan was a better football team than 1997 Nebraska, any objective fan will agree. Nebraska got the benefit of some really good luck at Missouri and barely besting the average (and somewhat unlucky) Colorado team. Michigan had the greatest football player of the last quarter century playing in all phases of the game for them, but Nebraska was surely better? OK, sure. The poll that matters says no as well.

Nebraska probably beats Michigan worse than they beat Manning and Tennessee. That game would be close for a quarter or so.

That’s why Las Vegas said Nebraska would’ve been at least a touchdown favorite?

Great evidence, Ohio State was favored over Iowa by 17 last year too. Besides, odds aren't set as to what Vegas thinks the margin of victory will be. That's not how any of that works. Football is played on a football field, not in a casino.

Objective fan? Right. If the B10 wasn't chickenshit at the time and ran off and hid in the Rose Bowl instead of playing it out on the field like all other conferences agreed to we wouldn't have to argue about it.

Football is played on a football field, not in a casino.[/. I know you said anybody could see Michigan was a better team then why would they be an underdog on a neutral field? As you said football is played on a field but we will never know. All I’m saying is they believed Nebraska was the better team by setting the line. I’m sure Iowa was favored against Purdue at home too. It was one game but I bet Iowa wins more times than not against Purdue. That’s why you play the game. If the Big 10 wasnt so dead set on the Rose Bowl back then we would’ve had the game.

Which, for the record, it was not. Hence the citation of Vegas spread projections. A line moves away from the open based on betting patterns and any applicable changes (weather or injuries). Furthermore, if the open was too frequently set too far adrift, one side would be heavily bet enough that Vegas casinos would lose considerable money on sports gambling. Which also, for the record, doesn't happen.

And you are bragging that being part of a program that NEVER has been relevant as being a better option?

Better learn how to win a bowl game first

2015 TaxSlayer Bowl

Here is a classic Iowa performance

Are you aware just about everyone in Nebraska wanted TO fired after he went 0-7 for a stretch in bowl games?

Mich would’ve won that game 56-14. Hey, isn’t that how bad Iowa pummeled you last year as well?! I still wish Ferentz wouldn’t have called off the dogs. He should’ve went for 100 against Neb. Oh well, maybe we score 100 on Neb this year.
