DeVries won at Drake before his son.
Not very loyal bounces around quick. Good coach but DeVries is more a long term option.
Yep I remember what he did to Drake but worked out for both. Not a ton of success at CSU until now so I'd be surprised he is there after this year when bigger jobs come calling..
Did he make tourney?

He’s actually been steadily building a great program at CSU.
Had a really good March Madness team just a few years ago too.
He made the tournament before Tucker. Both solid coaches. Obviously as a Drake fan as well I’m partial to DeVries. Incredible what he’s done there.
Also partial to DeVries. Met him a few times. Hawkeye tailgate this past fall. I went to Drake Blue-white game.
I have wondered why a coach needs to be a long term solution. Long term might mean that no one else wants them. A very good up and comer coach that stays for a few years allows the next up and comer an opportunity when they move on.
