No arrests or charges in Neb

Just like the incompetence of Iowa law enforcement when dealing with Kirk "I'll help you move into a crime scene" Ferentz.

Kirk suspended the players before any charges or the story came to light. Then Kirk dismissed the players upon learning more facts.

Can skirt fan see the difference or does the incompetent Lincoln PD need to help you?

Guys, hearing on the grapevine it was a 3 way and then one of the girls changed her mind afterwards. Not sure if that changes your opinion but just what I've heard.

Again the Lincoln PD can't figure out how to charge or convict a skirt player who was passed drunk behind the wheel of a running car why would anyone in their right mind believe that they can handle anything more complicated than a traffic ticket?

This thread is getting ridiculous on both sides....just stop
No, GFY.

One of the cops at the press conference said that he 'believed the victim'. If you believe the victim, then how does this not warrant more investigation? Or at least calling in everyone involved and getting their stories? This is a coverup, and it should be talked about. So shut your Fusker mouth and change your name back to what it should be. RapskerFBnBB4Life.

Just another case of being tried and convicted in the court of public opinion. Some of these comments are absolutely disgusting.
BS, the Peschong one of the cops involved said he believed the victim, but they didn't have enough 'evidence' to move forward. Nebraska is known for allowing this kind of thing, and never having people charged for it. What is disgusting is that anyone would give these mother fuskers a pass.

Can you show me where the cops involved said they believed that Armstrong or Westerkamp raped the woman?
What? No? Shocking.

But as long as you "know" they did it. I mean you were there, right? Did you at least read the police reports? Could you tell me the results of the rape kit from the hospital? What was the DNA that was collected? Who was all interviewed by the police?

I hate it when a little thing like "evidence" gets in the way of a good public lynching.

Gotta love social media.

Nebby is just like Penn State as far as TO is to Nebby what Paterno was to Penn St. If there is anything that needs covered up (Christian Peter and Phillips, etc, etc, etc, etc.) it will be done and the fans will be happy about it. They only care about winning at all costs. The two programs are the same and I feel ashamed to have both in the Big 10. Anytime I hear about them I feel the need to take a shower. Shame on both programs.

Again, unless names are released, the suspect might not even be a member of the football program, many are just assuming that it was either Armstrong, Westerkamp or both.

I don't know, "apple don't fall far from the tree" "learn in the school ya go" anymore you want me to use?

Regardless of crime or punishment, this investigation itself has to have been a distraction.

The rumor is that QB TA and two girls were in a 3-way with WR Westerkamp watching, for several hours after hte game on Sat night or Sun mornin, and 1 of the girls ran to the hospital the next day claiming sexual assault.

Nobody knows whether there's enough there to charge a crime (and I could see how the LPD might say, "that's just weird, if you consented to a 3-way, we'll never get a rape charge to stick") - apparently there wasn't. Who knows whether there will be a civil lawsuit or Title IX university action.

But if that's the scenario, what does that say about the program and the focus on the "team leaders"? Booze filled 3 ways with the WR watching is some pretty kink stuff. Now I see why Westerkamp wears that mustache. The other WRs are like, "yo where's my invite". Coach Riley hears all of this for the first time Tuesday.

As I posted on the Husker board, all we know is that the Lincoln PD won't have enough evidence to charge Iowa with a crime when we repeatedly violate the Husker Defense's manhood on Friday, so let's roll like we're partying at Tommy's!

The Lincoln PD has already proven they can't handle anything more than a traffic ticket when it comes to a skirt football player.

Get back to us when they can effectively arrest and convict a skirt football player passed out drunk behind the wheel of a running car. Until they pull that off they need the FBI to investigate crimes by skirt players. At least they can think a little bit for themselves.

Do feel free to tell us how it really is skirt fans. No one will laugh at you, really.

How does it not surprise me that Westy would "like to watch" Tommy.

Graham Spanier and the Franklin Savings and Loan continue to be the flavor of the day in Nebby land. Win at all cost...and then tell everyone how wonderful and ethical we are!
Whoa! Franklin Credit Union!! I actually just finished Decamp's book on that. Crazy stuff there, I live in Omaha and that would come up at work here and there. There was some stuff I believe from there and some was just craziness.

Is anybody surprised? The LPD already told Tommy "everything should be fine" the very 1st day after the woman reported the rape. So somehow a woman reported rape and everything is fine, same day. This is Lincoln, Nebraska.

You guys are about as good at this as Nile Kinnick was at landing airplanes

Is Johnny Rogers really the Dean of the Criminal Justice Program and Nebraska? As I hear it Nebraska has taken a different approach to it than most schools. Instead of teaching students how to catch criminals Nebraska teaches how to be and live as one.

No wonder the Lincoln PD is so good at what they do.

It is absolutely amazing that Iowa Hawkeye fans apparently have the all the details of whatever happened that night.

You guys are well connected, not only with your own program I'm sure, but also with a program in Lincoln, NE.

Actually, according to Tommy, they told him HE should be fine. Do you know that Tommy was a suspect? If so, how are you so well connected?

If you aren't connected, then there must be a link to where Tommy or any football was named as a suspect. I must have missed that link, so can you provide it?

Or we have a third option...you have no idea what happened that night, but since it involves some players from the hated Huskers, you will quickly throw on your tin foil hat and automatically assume the Huskers are guilty and the police department, university and football team are all involved in a cover-up.

Did social media rape that girl?

More like, we know it's your rape room, but from what we see it at least wasn't you in there.

What is amazing is how skirt fans support all their criminals. Will Johnny Rogers be in attendance on Friday or is he just another skirt player still in jail.

The Lincoln PD can barely pull off a traffic ticket let alone a real investigation of a skirt football player.

I've heard the state of Iowa has more black prisoners without evidence than any other state. Racists gonna racists.

Johnny Rogers is a skirt fan legend. Armed Robbery at its finest.

Did the Lincoln PD do that investigation? Probably way out of their league as far as ability.

You've heard. Great source of information you supplied with all the date. I also heard Nebraska has the biggest bunch of dbag football fans too...

There wouldn't be this reaction if there weren't volumes of other cases in Lincoln that point to cultural corruption around the football program and it's enabling of criminals and misogynists.

To the outside world it is blatantly obvious that morality takes a backseat to football.

It looks like we will never know at all, and that is the part that bothers people. I also don't like how your coach didn't get informed of this until 2 days later. You need to know that in a situation where you are a public figure, that the one who is in mostly in charge of you in that capacity should be notified immediately. It seemed like they panicked and hoped that this wouldn't go public. From what I understand, it was police radio being heard that let the cat out of the bag, and was likely the reason the police made a public statement days later.

Everything about this looks fishy as hell. I will accept that we don't know what the hell happened, but I will not ignore that there are some interesting circumstances in this tale of Fuskerdom.

Brook Berringer ring a bell ? I know your football team doesn't go to class but maybe you as a Husker fan could show some class around here.

To be honest, it's brilliant. Tommy has an actual witness (2 witnesses including the other girl) to say it was all cool and consensual. That's why this wasn't an ordinary "he said/she said." The LPD was literally handed a clusterf***k
