NorCal tsunami/quake

I live in southern Oregon and my phone went off with the emergency alert for this. Didn't really feel anything here and we're inland by 80-100 miles so no worries about tsunami. I think @BelemNole is also far enough inland but I'm not totally sure.

Hopefully nothing really comes of it but I have no idea...

Just once I'd love to see one of these suckers really hit an urbanized area hard. ideally on a weekend when no one's out and about.

Got a couple alerts and the wife texted me, but we’re in Phoenix for the time being and the little one hasn’t texted or called saying anything is wrong so we are fine.

A friend near San Fran said she felt the earthquake but it wasn't bad where they were. They are under tsunami warning.

Just watch the videos of Japan. What happens is devastation and death.
There's a docuseries on Nat Geo called Tsunami: Race Against Time, and it's just interviews and unreleased footage of the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. Each part discusses the impact of it in a different area. Some of the footage and interviews are absolutely heartbreaking.

Whoa whoa whoa! We're so much more than just meth now...Rampant opiods of all shapes and sizes, an enormous mental health and homeless problem, and even a bowling alley! But yeah I guess it all goes back to the meth.

We also have a weird obsession with chain restaurants, although at least we got the first In n Out in Oregon out of that part.
