Iowa is not good at the point guard position.

Jeremy Morgan is a tremendous player, and would form a killer wing combination with Jok if he were at Iowa.

Anybody who wishes that Wyatt Lohaus were at Iowa has clearly never seen him play.

This. Why people keep saying that Lohaus is a better guard than anyone we have is beyond me. He's a great kid, but he's not (up to this point) a Power five guard.

In this his junior season, he is averaging 3 pts/ 2 rbs/ 0.5 assists per game while averaging 25 mpg. He is shooting 22% from the field as well.

If he was at Iowa, people would be bit***** about why Fran offered a local kid who should be playing mid-major basketball.

UNI game is a month from now...we got something like 7 games before we play them. So not ready to ordain them with a decided edge....but yes they deserve credit for their wins against ASU & Oklahoma. UNI is one of the most taken for granted schools in the country...I swear some of their opponents look down on them....

Bo Ryan was not looking down on the Panthers when the schools starting scrimmaging each other, which Coach Gard continued again this year. From unofficial reports, Wisconsin's hot shooting that day provided the difference.
If the Hawks remember to pack the defense for the trip to Des Moines, I think they will prevail.

FACTS. That said, Jok has proven to be better than Morgan.
