Anyone know if this game will be televised? Doesn't Mediacom usually show these games?

UNI has been to the sweet 16 more recently and should have gone last year too if not for the debacle at the end.Not really. UNI missed four straight tournaments before winning a game in each of the past two. Iowa has been to three straight tournaments.

Interesting. Knew there had to be more to the story. He has been in hot water for partying too much.

Yea, if we're going to say it should have been this or that, then we should just say UNI had a pretty pathetic year last year finishing 5th in a terrible conference and getting lucky to win the MVC tourney.Woulda coulda shoulda. Fran has one more tourney appearance since being coach at Iowa and the same number of tourney wins.

When you talk about high school performers (guards), it's difficult sometimes to separate those amazing performances when a kid goes off and makes all his shots in a game, versus kids like the Bohannans who are all consistently pretty good all the time. Yeah, I've watched all the Bohannons in high school and Jordan is about as good as any of them, maybe not as tall as some of his brothers. My impression of Jordan is pretty much what you see with him playing at Iowa. He's always a good passer and floor general. He has no fear. His shooting can be absolutely erratic. You never know when JoBo is going 2- 8 like against Iowa State, or 3- 22, as in one substate game, or when he lights it up, going 12- 15. He is a deadly free throw shooter. With Jordan, a team is going to live by the three or die by the three. Her's quicker than you think and gets more than his share of rebounds. Unfortunately JoBo's Linn-Mar teams never made it to the Iowa state tournament because his best shooting games were never in the district or substate finals when Linn-Mar would always be paired with some really good team, whereas his buddy, Pemsl, lived at the state tourney, winning eight of nine games there. I really like Jordan Bohannon and I think he should remain a starter on Iowa's team. One thing about Jordan, when he is off on his shooting, it's never for very long. He can have a terrible shooting night, then come right back with a couple of great nights in a row. He has a lot more good shooting nights than bad nights. Another thing, he had great high school coaching, and is as BIG-ready as a freshman can be.
