Sadly true. We need a guard who can penetrate, dish it and shoot it. we also need a dominant force under the basket. It's been a long long time. hopefully Cook can give us that right away next year.

This had nothing to do with the talent on the floor. If that were the case, they wouldn't have swept PU & MSU earlier.
It was, rather, a complete self-inflicted headcase meltdown. And it will continue until this latest chapter ends next week.

I think the three seniors besides Uthoff were transitional players. They bridge the gap between the Lickliter era and the future.

The problem is that they were needed earlier but as expectations rose for the team their talents were behind the curve for future team improvement.
It is not their fault. I believe that they gave it all they had on the court. It is time to thank them and turn the page.
