That aside, Illinois looked damn impressive in that game. Purdue had beaten the crap out of multiple high quality teams at home, but Illinois (minus their "stomping dude") took it to 'em. I think it was the best performance by a Big Ten team this year.
Very embarrassing play by Griffin, quite disappointed in him. It was somewhat of a relief to see how PISSED Coach Underwood was ... zero argument with the refs and pretty much just turned around and told AG to get lost. His halftime interview was actually pretty hilarious; he gave a nice "coach speak" response and as he walked away, you could tell he wanted to use more colorful language to describe that bush league shit.
