Asked which true freshmen might play this year, KF said they are still unsure about James Daniels. It could be a situation like Seth Olsen had where he's in the two deeps, but they might try to keep the redshirt on if possible. Still remains to be seen though. On the other freshmen, Kirk said Ojemudia is probably going to play, one of the linebackers will probably play but didn't say who, and still looking at receivers. KF said right now their fourth receiver is probably Riley McCarron, who has had a really good camp. Jay Scheel was practicing in a red jersey today, but should be fine.

The OL is still the same as it's been with Boettger, Walsh, Blythe, Welsh, and Myers.... Simmons is 3rd guard right now and backup center. Greg Davis said they've tried Boettger at LT a little bit and Croston there too, but right now if they had to play a game it would be Boettger at RT and Boone Myers at LT. James Daniels have been working pretty much exclusively at left guard, but they do want to get him some reps at center to prepare him for both positions going forward.

Kirk said right now Mitchell is RB #3. Spoke highly about him again today. Said he still has to figure out a few things, but doing really well.

Punter is still open. Both Koehn and Kidd have had good camps.

Haven't made a decision on #3 QB yet.

Beathard practicing well. Daniels and Canzeri got more reps in the scrimmage on Friday and that helped obviously helped on offense and they were able to do some good things.

Phil Parker mentioned Cole Fisher having a really good camp, working at WLB.
