Does anyone else feel like $100 for 4:15 is a lot? Plus, no camp goes that long without breaks so it is actually less than that.

And I don’t see a cap to class sizes?? Is it actual instruction? I wasn’t sure of this was the best use of the $100?? Anyone have experience with these??

Nope not recruiting for Cael ha! David is actually going to be in Iowa for the AWL on Nov. 3rd and talked him into staying another day to do a camp for our Iowa kids! Actually $100 for a 4 hour camp is cheap. I saw one this year where it was $60 for 2 hours and I don’t even think they got a shirt. Plus this is a WORLD CHAMPION! David doesn't do many camp anymore so his fees are up there. If anyone has ever came to a National Champ Camp we have had or the past ones with David Taylor you know you learn at our camps! David is one awesome instructor!

It would seem hard to hold people’s attention for four hrs vs spreading it out over 2 two hr sessions

Oilchecker, There are 2 sessions to the camp with a break or breaks! I just put the total time as David was 8 hours ahead of us (on vacation) and was working on his flight schedule. Yes there will be breaks in these camps just like all our National Champ Camps! Yes you will learn and learn a lot from The Magic Man!

I’m sorry He is a great competitor and is doing great things I appreciate him and his wrestling, but am I the only one who would not be caught dead wearing a “designer” fanny pack never mind matching with my wife/girlfriend. Man I would not fit in with current trends if this is the case....

Wrestling for Life has provided scholarships to other HAWC camps and the feedback we have received has been all positive. The young man we sent to the Kyle Snyder camp a couple of years ago benefited greatly.

My son went to several before his health issues and they were worth it. IMO the winter break camps are the best value though. Chad has always had very well run camps.

I was hard on this camp for having all non Iowans last time. Not gonna be an ass this time. And I love a good fanny pack. I think learning techniques from him is well worth 100. Just make sure the camp shirts are black and gold

We are actually having them Red White and Blue since he won the World Championship for USA!

We appreciate your support! That was a great story with that young man who came to the camp. I sent the picture Kyle and he thought it was very cool!

I have no doubt that many folks will happily pay $100 for instruction from a world champ even if it's only a few hours. Let's do some math...100 campers X $100 = $10,000. Pretty good chunk of change.

You OBVIOUSLY have NO idea what he charges by that comment! I am not going to even get into what he charges and what he expects. But you are more than welcome to buy his flight, pay his fees, shirts, hotel, and expenses while here. Let me know how it works out! Heck call me if you want and I would be glad to tell you what I am having to pay him. But makes no sense to go online and write stuff like this!

What's this all about? Did you reply to the wrong message or something? That guy appeared to be defending the price. Didn't see any criticism.

No need to get all bent out of shape. LOL. And yes I do know what guys like David charge as I've been in this game longer than you. Definitely not asking for his pay but would be surprised if you have to pay his flight since he is already in the area. Hotel, certainly since he has to stay an extra day. It's good for wrestling that clinicians are making pretty serious money. Good for Iowa that he will do a clinic in state. Also, good for you that you can make a living on coaching wrestling and offering camps/clinics.

Back to Magic Man's wife. She looks fine ( by fine I mean FIIINE) to me. I must say I am impressed with his lack of concern about how his clothing choices may be perceived. That cat shirt is a definite, "you would not catch me dead in one of those" for me. Yet he pulls it off and is smiling while in the picture.
As far as what the guy is charging for a camp - who cares? If the kids are getting their money's worth and he is providing something people want and he has figured out a way to make a little cash for himself, then God Bless America! Capitalism at its best. JMHO

I think I could muddle through life with her

Thanks. Nephew asked to go to purler wrestling camp. These things are expensive. I'll pay what I can afford, but I'd like to know if its worth it.
