Oddly enough, bad loss for ISU

Oklahoma is not the most physical, but they are no way soft team. ISU loss is not a bad loss either IMO. I think the biggest problem for ISU is that they have not beaten the top half of the teams in their conference over the last 6 weeks but has beaten the teams they should. Having to get through OKla, WV and Kansas to win that tournament with basically a six player rotation would have been an astronomical feat this weekend.

Neither ISU or Iowa has had a strong finish heading to the tournament, so I think all this crap being tossed back and forth is plain stupid. We should be happy that all three state schools are going dancing and hope to get one through to the Sweet 16. All three have strengths and weaknesses so it will come down to matchups and desire.

They're not #3 & that wasn't really a neutral court. ISU is playing bad ball right now. That was a must win game for them last night for their confidence if nothing else. Big12 is weak as usual & even with good seeds I'd be shocked if there's an elite 8 team in the bunch.

Weird, I'd consider that a neutral court, or were they actually playing in Ames, and I missed something?

Actually, yes, I would be very surprised if any team has as many good losses as Iowa State. All the ISU losses have been to teams that will be in the NCAA tournament, and all of the losses were close games, three of them in overtime.

Nice, you guys hanging a banner for that?

ROCKY MOUNTAIN HAWK is trying hard here, folks. He may not have logic on his side, but logic doesn't seem to be as fashionable as it once was.

Excuses again for Isu. Underachieved this year. 10-8 and lose to Hilton south. Prohm a technical had a five point swing. Prohm should be fired and pollard should be gone with ANOTHER bad coaching hire. They were "supposed to go to the final four this year abridging to Des Moines media."
