The crowd noise last night was deafening; perhaps the loudest since they're heydays under Cox. One of my sons was given tix at the last minute and said it was like being at a Metallica concert, you couldn't hear yourself think sometimes.
Alas, I realized this morning that I am the true Atlanta sports fan. The Braves have been my team since they moved to Atlanta and I could get all the games on the WSUN radio out of St. Pete. But Atlanta pro sports numbs you into a trance over the years; instead of doing cartwheels and being ecstatic, I got up this morning feeling a profound sense of relief instead.

No skin in this game and come in this as a neutral fan, but the braves have to stop the tomahawk chop. Insensitive and cultural appropriation at it's worst. Astros have to win for the future of America.

Took us longer than the Phillies and Mets, but finally clinched not getting swept out of the playoffs.
I personally love the second lead-off batting 9th instead of trying to minimize ABs for your weakest hitter.
