Was in the stands tonight waving Heredia around 3rd. First game in two years and it was good to be back. Hopefully I didn’t catch the Missouri Covid. Awesome game and even better come back.

Swanson 4-4. Had a monster shot, that was just foul. Duvall, Soler, and Joc all contributed nicely. I’m upset Joc didn’t get more than a pinch hit AB though. Looked forward to seeing him.

Lots of Braves fans and a few Hawkeye fans in the crowd tonight.

AA bought and the Braves are starting the week of 8/15/21 at worst tied for first after sweeping the Nats on the road. Phillies are down 7-3 in the 8th so probably leading the division by a game here in about half an hour.

Lol, Phillies just got swept by the Diamondbacks. Braves leading Philly by 4 games entering a series at Camden Yards. And the Mets are at LAD this weekend. Just an incredible week for the Bravos.

BUMP! REFILL BABY! Phillies up 3-1 in the bottom of the 9th. Nola tried going for a complete game but was at like 110 pitches. Jake Croneworth homered to tie it. Phillies blow it in the 9th, Padres walk off after Brodgon spiked the ball in a 1-2 count with runners on 2nd and 3rd.
