*****Official 2023 NCAA tournament games thread*****

That Arkansas player is complaining about that foul called on him.... But that is a GREAT foul.

3 seconds left, up 3

This might be the first year I don't get a single Final Four team. I need to start making a chaos bracket where I pick upsets as the norm.

Woah, Auburn up on Houston. Will need to switch to that game after Princeton finishes off MO (hopefully).

Anyone who picks Purdue to play in the championship game should receive a lifetime ban in bracket participation. Furthermore, they should turn in their college basketball fan card until they complete a course in NCAA Tournament Futility.
Same if they ever pick Arizona lol

Like Iowa Purdue hasn’t made the final 4 since 1980. We are well versed in futility.

Picked Houston to lose in 2nd round! It was actually a 1 seed I didn't think would do much. But I did pick Kansas in elite 8

Anyone know if there was ever a tourney all 1s didn't make it to S16? I could look it up but figured someone already knew

I'll just be more pissed, if Auburn wins.... Cause that just means that we COULD have beat Houston.

How damn hard is it to win TWO game in a row in March.

Not asking much. Maybe sometime in the next 20 years

Someone should be looking into whether Barkley influenced people on the committee. Auburn in Birmingham as a 9 seed is crap. Houston should be passed. So should we

Yep, agree 100%. No way Auburn should have a home game against an 8 and then a 1 seed.

The way I heard it explained is that the committee seeds all the teams and then the top X seed plays close to home. So if Iowa would have been the top 8 seed, they'd have played in DesMoines but they weren't. Auburn must have been the top 9 seed.
