I've always thought its a good strategy to kind of go with a really strong core, whether RB or WR. The best available at my draft position in the first two rounds were WR. Then RB in R3, and QB/TE in rounds 4/5.

It was just too appealing to take the gamble on CDL after watching him fall to the 8th pick.

No, I agree. And outside the top 3 backs there wasn’t much for safe picks out there

I debated Lamb but figured Chase has at least shown up for one practice. Because that makes me feel so much better

I made a change to the league settings. The default playoffs for ESPN are 4 teams, 2 week playoffs. I changed it to 6 teams, 1 week for each round. top 2 teams get a bye. This is what we had set up last year.

To be clear:

14 weeks of matches
round 1 - 15th
round 2 - 16th
championship round - 17th
