That debate was refreshing. I like Vance way more than his boss. Still won't vote for his ticket.

I think after hearing Vance talk about what a great, Beautiful country America is in his closing remarks that he is not traveling around the same shit hole country that is being destroyed daily that Donald Trump travels around.

There is always going to be a conservative viewpoint at the table. I just hope it can get back to sanity without a carnival barker at the helm. Like a lot of people, neither party represents all of my own views, so I'd like a principled conservative stance in the debate, to say nothing of a third party viewpoint, which has almost no chance of being viable while Citizens United is law.

I watched the post debate discussion both nationally and locally. They all agree with you.
Walz is a putz and a moron. No wonder Harris picked him, she has terrible judgment.
I thought both candidates did well. Classic debate of decades ago. Vance did well presenting policies and impacts. Walz rebounded from early nervousness and hammered home the abortion rights and Trump’s election results denial.
So entire new party? Conservative views aren't going to disappear even if the Trump-style GOP does.
