Dix is going to make a lot of money playing basketball whether it starts this year or not.
T J Power from U Va is in the portal. Iowa went hard after him before he committed to the Cavs. Again, not sure what Ben is looking for at the C/PF spots
Hopefully an athletic Rim runner that defends and rebounds
I don't view anybody on that list as a major competitor if BMC wants him...

Iowa was initially mentioned with Schwieger, but he has cut his list to 4 and the Hawkeyes are not included.
I was hoping he stayed. I wonder if he knows some other bigs are coming in?
Need to fill out a roster. Wouldn’t start but could definitely help the team and knows the system.

System will be brand new and he doesn't know anyone on the team.

Yalden struggled to earn minutes on a truly terrible Seton Hall team and has a history of off-court issues. I would say that’s gonna be a hard pass from McCollum.

A lot of bigs entering the portal. Saw a 4-star freshman PF from Kansas entered today. Ben should be able to fill the openings in the roster left by Tadjo transferring and Diakite and Briscoe decommiting.
Thanks for this thread. I know these kids are all longshots to come here, but it lets us know he is working on it right out of the gates.
Ya I've seen we've showed interest in at least 10 kids. Hopefully we can get some here.
Most of them have some pretty impressive lists. But theirs at least 2 where we are one of the top schools.
My things is most teams are only looking for 1-2 players. Their are some that 3-4. Once these coveted spots are taken and once the market is made. We will a good pool of players to pull from

Tidbit: The NIL for Pryce seems to be pretty even among offering schools and don't expect that to change much. Was told he has been asking Iowa about the coaching staff, sounds like he is still very much on the ropes but not near as gone as I would have thought the other day!
I did hear something else but I'm not going to vouch for it as it didn't directly come from someone I trust, but I did hear Fran had a good conversation with Pryce and family late this week and gave him some encouragement and told him Iowa still might be the best place for him!
