exactly once these guys fail they just keep trying repeatedly to make it up and usually just fail again. kf is king at making sensible 2 pt conversion choices

Wel-, had they just kicked the extra point at the end of the half, they could have just kicked the extra point there and be up 3. But, they had to chase points.
