Iowa played their hearts out and gave Michigan St. all they could handle, just came up a little short. Congrats Mich. St. Go Hawks!
Tremendous game, the way football is suppose to be played. MSU's drive to win was great. Hawks played tough. Now lets rest and kick ass in a bowl game. Rose?

You have a chance at a National Championship and you spend a week game planning like this. I really felt they were holding back the offense the last few weeks because they were saving something for this game. Guess not, our offense will always be like this. CJ was 10-13 at one point in the 1st half for 57 yds. 5.7 yds per completion is pop warner stats. Players gave their all, too bad the coaching didn't do the same.
All those putting this on Ferentz are fools, this is on Greg Davis' stupid ****ing offense. No threat of pas beyond 7 yards for 2 1/2 quarters allows the defense to put 9-10 near the line, thus no running game.

They couldn't get a stop because the defense played most of the game....three and outs running up the middle doesn't win football games. He was outcoached, and 12-0 means nothing especially when you crawl back into your conservative hole and lose because your stupid!

KF will never let a qb determine a win or loss. This is why the nfl talk was always a joke. You can't coach at high levels when you play to lose. Should have scored two td's in the first half and certainly one late. When we threw a pick in the red zone...KF had seen enough qb play.
They made big play play after big play. Turn over in end zone is killer. Suck it up and move on.
Did you watch the game? Iowa lost because the coaches went into a shell on O. No blame on the players.

KF could have told Davis to open it up at any time during this game. He didn't. He said earlier in the year that he sits in on offensive coaches meetings. He OK's the game plan. It's on Kirk as much as GD.
We are not Nebraska. He is the coach of the year and this was a hell of a season. One more win in the bowl will give us thirteen.
