Clark has to develop mid range game so many times she gets open off dribble just to stop and pass.
WNBA should never schedule teams back to back on the road.
Legs are toast.
That'll need to be a focus in the offseason.
Her deep shot has gotten flatter and flatter since February/March.
Wilson gets a friendly whistle, as do most of the stars on good teams. She drove to the basket not long ago with no one touching her and gets the “and one”. Thought the college game was inconsistent but this is right with them. Won’t be long and I’ll be done.
Kate is now 2-3 from three for 9 pts, 6 rebounds, 1 assist & 1 block in 16 minutes
Did Kate ever outscore Caitlin in a game at Iowa?

Not sure and I’m happy for Kate. But if you understand basketball, you understand that Clark is facing the best defender, double teamed, and everyone is focused on stopping her. Martin just has to hit open looks. Again super happy for her but dumb to compare the two
The Aces just have weapons all over the place.
So not so much to you but I said awhile ago that playing 38 games 2 years in a row and then having 3 weeks off was going to be tough for Clark after all she did for the Hawks. People were laughing that oh, she’s 22 years old, she should never get tired. She’s getting pushed pulled and everything else. And I’m not saying illegally. But it’s a helluva grind for her.
This was predictable against the Aces. They are in a different tier of the league.
Clark isn’t even shooting wide open shots now. She looks a bit checked out.
Seems gun shy not sure if coaching or just tired legs but the great scorers keep shooting because they can get hot.
WNBA certainly hasn't done the Fever any favors when it came to scheduling this year. I really don't blame them for being gassed at this point.
While last night was exciting, a little frustrating to see the flow and easy shots for Aces —with Plum and Wilson, etc, dropping buckets—but so much harder for CC to score. And yes, Kate’s matching her! I hope she gets to be so automatic in years to come….

It's not going to get any easier. They've got 4 games in the next 8 days.
They really had no shot in this game. The back end of back to back games against the two time defending champ when they have had a game every other day since the beginning of the season? This schedule is just ridiculous.

You know, the Aces offense isn't that hard to figure out. They literally just give it to their best shooter and let her run the offense. It's almost like the fever should replicate that with Caitlin?
And all home games, the scheduling is a joke
It was a dirty play. So yes I do.
It's meant to favor the top teams and punish the weaker teams.
Of course remember, these schedules are set up in December and what not...........
