lol... the announcers were the last to know about the Triple Double
The Liberty have too many weapons and the Fever don't have the ability to guard them all. There's a good reason why the Liberty are 17-3 and the Fever are 8-13.
The triple-double is great, but I'm sure CC would gladly trade it for a win. You know she's pissed at her missed shots.
This team probably has 2 more victories if they make half the misses inside 5 feet from the rim

Smith has no left hand. Any time she drives to the left side she attempts some weird right-handed reverse layup. How do you get this far without a basic middle school basketball skill?

Most all her misses are short, with a lot of them starting off with flat trajectory. She'll also have the occasional miss right or left if she's rushing off balance like the one she shot in the 2nd Qtr from the left wing where she came wide open off a missed switch by NY.
The Liberty are only shooting 23% from three, but the Fever are still down by 9.

It's ironic that Clark got her first triple-double, but her shitty shooting is going to cost them the game. After the first five minutes, it looked like she was going to light up the Liberty.
If you think it's all on Clark's shooting after the terrible defense and missed lay-ups, you're sorely mistaken.
Again, this is why Sides shouldn't be in control of deciding what to challenge.

The shot clock violations are pathetic. Often passing on a good shot to put a teammate in a bad spot.
Of course it's not all on Clark's icy shot, but seven straight misses in a six point game is a big deal. If Mitchell or Wallace had missed seven straight threes, everyone on this board would be destroying them.

I think the long Iowa season followed by WNBA with no layoff has finally caught up to her. That, and she can't rest on defense like she did in college! Her legs are gone!
