There are 6 reg season games left for YOUR 18-16 Indiana Fever.

The next 5 games are at home. The last reg season game is at Washington.

I think YOUR Fever go at least 4-2 and finish the reg season no worse than 22-18 (.550). Last season they finished at 13-27 (.325).

The Last 6 Reg Season Games:

Fri Sep 6 vs.........#3 Minnesota.........(24-9)
Sun Sep 8 vs......#9 Atlanta..............(11-22)
Wed Sep 11 vs.....#4 Las Vegas.........(21-12)
Fri Sep 13 vs........#4 Las Vegas.........(21-12)
Sun Sep 15 vs.....#11 Dallas................(9-24)
Thur Sep 19 at...#10 Washington...(11-23)

Caitlin's current numbers heading into tonight's game:

18.9 PPG, 5.8 RPG, 8.4 APG, 42.5 FG%

Looking to next season, what truly free agents do we think would sign on with the Fever? It's obvious that the fever are the future, and that if they can get a high end 3 or 4, she will make a ton of money with the fever just due to exposure and clicks. Unrestricted free agents for 2025 include:

Satou Sabally
Natasha Howard
Alyssa Thomas
Breanna Stewart
Nneka Ogwumike

Obviously Stewart is the best one. She realistically probably wouldn't leave NY. Maybe perhaps she would though if Caitlin agreed to play in her new 3-3 league? Hmmmm. Howard and Sabally are on the worst teams so probably would make a jump. Howard is getting older and Sabally young. She could be a good fit. Nneka is really damn good, but might be hard to lure from Seattle. Same for Thomas with the Sun. Thoughts?
I wonder how many other boards on the Rivals network are discussing WNBA free agency? :)

Sabally would be an absolutely perfect fit IMO

One of my colleagues and I earlier this week were sitting in my office breaking down possible free agency moves for 2025 and laughed that we were talking about that rather than the Iowa game against Illinois State and the matchup with ISU. We are both mega hawkeye fans too. I don't think we are alone.

Looks like Vegas has the Lynx favored by 2.5 tonight. This will be a stiff test, obviously. Hopefully the get the kinks worked out Wednesday and come out firing tonight. Prediction: Fever 90 Lynx 85

It's hilarious to read Michael Voepel's "Rookie Tracker" on ESPN.

"Reese added to her unprecedented double-double total Tuesday by finishing with 12 points (4-for-12 shooting) and 16 rebounds -- plus three assists and two steals -- in the Chicago Sky's road matchup against the Las Vegas Aces.
He uses the word "unprecedented" to describe AR's double-double streak. "She now has 25 on the season and trails only Alyssa Thomas (28 in 2023) for the most double-doubles in a season in league history. The former LSU star also extended her WNBA-record streak of 27 consecutive games with 10-plus rebounds."
"Reese was undoubtedly more concerned with her team suffering its seventh consecutive loss (90-71) and falling to 1-8 since returning from the Olympic break. Eighteen turnovers, plus allowing the two-time defending-champs to shoot north of 52%, was not a winning formula for the spiraling Sky."

CC: "Clark's second triple-double of her rookie season was the icing on the cake for the Fever's fifth victory in a row, 93-86 over Los Angeles on Wednesday. The rebounding tends to be the most challenging part of a triple-double for a guard, but Clark is averaging 5.8 boards per game to go with 18.9 points and 8.4 assists."

I absolutely love it. I hope AR gets a DD every single game of every single 12-28 season of her entire career.

Agree. And what FA wouldn't want to play with Indiana and CC? Seriously. Play in the biggest arenas, in front of the most cameras, with the biggest attendance, with the biggest TV viewership. CC and Boston and KM and Lexie and NS are turning Indiana into the WNBA's epicenter. I'd think high-end FAs would absolutely love the chance to be part of it.

Fever are averaging 91.4 ppg since the break, the most in the WNBA. Minnesota is allowing 76.1 ppg, 2nd best in the WNBA.

It’s a red hot offense vs. a very stingy defense. Something has to give. Should be entertaining.
