You've successfully tanked the game removing any semblance of cohesiveness with the stupid lineups. Just pull the starters now, Sides.
Sides can’t decide what she wants to do, either sit everyone, or try to win. She’s halfassing both options at the moment.
Time for another of Sides’ brilliant strategic moves.

Last game of the regular season. For some, this was their only opportunity timewise or financially to see CC and the team.

Mitchell turned her ankle and this game changed. Obviously Mitchell not being in hurts, but it’s also the point where Sides started to limit minutes. Either that was the plan after a certain number of minutes. Off red the ankle turn got her scared.

The announcers act like they are beating the dream team.
Just so frustrating. Sides is so bad. Just so, so, so, so horribly bad. The only reason the Fever will be a playoff team the next few years is Caitlin, Kelsey, and Aliyah. And yet making the playoffs will continue to save Sides’ job. Don’t kid yourself about being “one or two more pieces” away. The Fever will never do anything of significance with Christie Sides at the helm.
Poor Berger. The floor seems like a hostile planet.
Feel bad for the suckers who paid top dollar for these tickets only to get a bait and switch.
Now that the Fever front office knows what they have with CC/AB/KM/LH, they need to clean house and find some real talent/support for the bench. Anyone outside those 4 should be considered for the chopping block.

What makes you say that? I wondered myself when she sat out a game for “personal reasons” and noted that it was against an opponent we’ve seen play dirty.
The Liberty coach is playing her roster similarly to Sides tonight, and the Liberty are getting thrashed, too.
It's still pretty ugly going from up 16 to down 16. The Fever defense is pretty iffy when the starters are in. The defense disappears with the backups in.

Any strategy that limps into the playoffs (in any league) is a terrible approach. I just don't think it helps.
