Jesus - now I want the whole team back.
Really nice.
Easy there, hoss. Maybe a few on the practice squad pro bono so they don’t count against the cap.Jesus - now I want the whole team back.
I love that Erica and then Aliyah are the first two to be all over Caitlin.
There’s been a lot of talk about Erica. Scroll up and you’ll see that I’m included in those who’ve written some bad sh!t about her. But now I really wish they could find a way to keep her financially next season. Sign her to a much smaller contract and have Caitlin pull some endorsement strings to make up for the difference? Is that kind of thing allowed?
I misread her. I love what she brings in terms of attitude and how she really does appear to have Caitlin’s back. And if the Fever could just bring in a little more legitimate bench talent, she could give Caitlin some true rest minutes without the wheels completely falling off.
Oh my, who votes on this particular ROY award?
I bet if we knew who the individuals were we could narrow it down real quickly who the dissenter was.
Allergies kicked up a little bit at the end. Bring back Mitchell, Temi, and dantas!

The more I think about it, after resigning KM.After that 1-8 start, they finished a very respectable 19-12.
I do think this team is close to making the "final 4." It will be interesting to see what they do in the offseason to make that happen.
She won me over the last half of the year with her energy on the bench. You could tell she was all in and she started to play her role as a breather for CC much better. Hard to justify her contract price without getting creative like you suggested with endorsements. Maybe CC could let the city know they need to show her some love with endorsements. Similar to what Vegas is doing for their team.I love that Erica and then Aliyah are the first two to be all over Caitlin.

Priority #2 should be a defensive enforcer.
A player that if you cheap shot CC you can expect to be taken out. Job is to make teams think twice on fouling CC and set hard screens. Hockey employs goons to keep the peace and protect star players, and Caitlin has a bodyguard off the court but needs protection on it since refs have failed miserably.
I “thought” that would be Boston or Smith coming into the year. But Boston was too talented and Smith really didn’t find the role.
Her new nickname, "The Bloody Weapon"! Trademark this ASAP.
My guess is they are blaming the fact that nobody was watching until a certain white girl started playing (nevermind that there were already white stars playing in the league).
👆 My thoughts exactly.
She’ll be fine. She’s already expressed her white guilt. I believe I watched the actual video in this forum?I will be interesting to see if Bueckers gets physically roughed up next season, and Juju after that, or if this was all special treatment for Caitlin.
Something like this would be cool to reproduce in a larger poster size and have it mounted on cardboard to fashion a sign for ... Geno, ofc.
Hell yeah!Jesus - now I want the whole team back.
Man, that was so dang sweet. That's something you couldn't find - nor would you want to, lol - in the men's game.
Dunn said that she will be working hard to get players in Free Agency to fit around Clark. Players who can defend and run in transition. Sides was hailed for her defensive prowess, even though the team finished at or near the bottom in a couple of defensive categories. Also, Sides wanting to play slow and get the ball into the post to Boston and Smith didn't always work out in the half court. Getting "coach" to buy into Dunn's philosophy of playing with pace, up tempo, is a must if she's staying. And, right now it looks that she is staying. After that 1-8 start, they finished a very respectable 19-12.

Just sayingDon't forget: In Game 2, Wheeler knocked "eye poker" Carrington on her ass.
Dogs and cats, living together. Mass hysteria!Man, that was so dang sweet. That's something you couldn't find - nor would you want to, lol - in the men's game.
I love all the different personalities. Absolutely love Temi and her flamboyance ("Catherine darling" lol) coupled with her accent, and the reservedness of Grace too. The predictable sweetness of Aliyah, and the rather surprising (to me, at least) sweetness of Kelsey. Didn't know KM could smile that nicely, and it was so genuine too.
Good vibes. The WNBA best try to keep this under wraps. This love and good will might be contagious!!! 🤪
She’s such a selfish player. Hogging all the assists for herself.

I thought of how Aliyah shrieked at the driving range (Topgolf) when Caitlin hit, "She's good at everything!"I'm late in responding to this, but I really hope the posters thinking that CC has any kind of chance of going to the LPGA were not serious.

I don't think any assumptions can be made until the wnba season is overDon't tell @Bro D !!!
I'm glad they're making changes. But the woman they just named to COO and GM has no experience being a GM according to their press release. She has a ton of experience working on revenue generation which is great. But that side of the house is different from the one that has to identify, sign, and manage the on the court talent and the salary cap. Dunn did a horrible job of the talent and salary cap management and only did a good job drafting when she had the #1 pick, which is why the Fever are stuck for another year with too many bad contracts sitting on the bench. This says the new COO is also going to be the GM. We will see where that puts Sides...

Perhaps. Frankly, I would be surprised if they didn't loop Caitlin in on the process, identifying collegiate targets she would like to play with, and free agents where they and Caitlin want to get a band together to form a super team. We are really only talking a player to maybe a few players per year. I think the bigger issues are in-game coaching and coaching up defense.I'm glad they're making changes.
