Boston and Smith played great. Periods of good team defense. Berger came and gave away 5 points in 15 seconds. Did Hull get in the game at all?

I guess I am just biased but how can you at least not like CC and what she is doing for the game of women’s basketball. She can be fiery but is a phenomenal ambassador and spokesperson. Her style of play is exciting but she is too clean cut I guess. She didn’t win a Natty so is a loser who only cares about stats. 😉

Caitlin literally has no idea what to do in transition when the ball isn’t in her hands. She refuses to run the floor. One time she jumped up and down waving her hands instead of getting ahead of the ball. Another time she stood, getting in Mitchell’s way, instead of going to the corner which would have created space for Mitchell or gotten an open look for herself in the corner. Those are things Kate Martin excels at.

ETA - I think opposing teams have seen the 3 techs against Clark and have decided to push the boundaries to try to rattle her. That will ultimately prove to be a poor strategy.

And what do people think would have happened to CC if she would have done that to another player? I guarantee she would have at least got a technical, likely tossed out of the game. She got a T the last game when she and the other player chest bumped each other. Officials need to at least be consistent.

Seriously...watch Kate Martin move without the ball. She is BRILLIANT at it. Constantly repositioning or taking advantage of her defender taking her eyes off of her. I honestly can't even remember the last time I saw CC score a fast break layup after taking a feed from a teammate.. It's just something she needs to learn to do.

Boston is player of the game IMO. I know that Smith had better stats, but AB battled with Reese and Cardoso all game long and was critical in the win.
