With a DH and 28-man roster, I don't hate having a designated pinch-runner. It's not like the past where you knew you were going to burn through your whole bench hitting for relievers in a close game.
When Hoerner dropped the tailor-made DP grounder? Or was it when Javy dropped the throw to 2nd? I get where you're coming from, but the IF defense set that mess up.
Take 2 of 3 from the drunks and playoff magic number is 8....pretty much a sure thing.
