This is the only time the Rockies are in town all season & the weather tomorrow looks just as bad.Speaking of the weather, I can't believe they haven't called tonight's game. It's less than an hour from first pitch and it's still on despite a constant light rain, and some hefty wind gusts
Same deal for the White Sox and the Braves, but they postponed. That was announced early on today. This is the only time the Rockies are in town all season & the weather tomorrow looks just as bad.
Agree. April baseball is such a crapshoot.Same deal for the White Sox and the Braves, but they postponed. That was announced early on today.
Which leads to my constant bitch, why is a warm weather team like the Braves playing in Chicago on April 3rd? Baseball should utilize warm and moderate temp cities, and domes for the first 2 weeks of the season.
Home runs keep you warm!
Well I guess it’s a good win, but as JD said this would have been a catastrophic loss.Jeez, that was more drama than expected.
Almost game losing errors.
Good win.
I'm a 10 minute walk to Principal Park, I'm excited to go to a bunch of games this year. The Cubs have released the rosters for all of their minor league affiliates. AA is stacked.
You can get a look at the I-Cubs on Marquee tonight.

I assume you aren't one of the 103 people there tonight, but PCA looked decent leading off the game.I'm a 10 minute walk to Principal Park, I'm excited to go to a bunch of games this year.
Besides hitting a HR in the 1st, he singles in the 7th, steals second, and scores from 2nd on a WP.I assume you aren't one of the 103 people there tonight, but PCA looked decent leading off the game.
