Kyle Tucker 0-19 in Spring so far. 2 walks yesterday.

1st AB today = deep fly to CF. 0-20 now.

Losing Nicky from the organization is tough. I knew he was a long shot for the ODR, especially without another injury, but I was hoping his opt-out date was in May or June. If Nico has any setbacks in his rehab or another infielder gets hurt early in the season, our first callup would be Cowles, who has zero playing experience above AA at this moment and hasn't played a regular game since July.

I did see some stuff further from Brett Taylor and this report today is speculation. His opt-out is opening day, so while he’s not going to Japan, he’s not leaving the org until the regular season starts, so he’s still there to help cover an injury set-back or some new injury somewhere.
