**Official Fox News Republican Debate**

Rubio's "flexible" zinger against Trump was pretty good. That requires thinking on your feet.

I don't recall ever listening to any soviet speeches where I grew up.
Didn't you take 20th century history? I'm going to let you down a bit as I can't recall the guy, but some soviet leader gave a speech where the logic went America is always talking about freedom to. In Russia we have freedom from. Freedom from crime, freedom from poverty, etcetera. So Rubio's comment struck me as a bit Marxist

How old is Chris Mathews? The guy just said they have amazing technology to talk to people as they move around a room. But you can't move too quickly? I'm thinking the reporter is using Skype from her phone.

Trust Ted will have to speak with someone from MoTown Records about that......"Ball of Confusion" by The Temptations.
Oh, before my time. Something that old should be public domain. Maybe that's how prostitution should work? Legal after your copywrite runs out.

Every debate just reinforces my opinion that Hillary has it wrapped up.

Republicans need to fire everybody that is above janitor in their party headquarters and start over.
The chief strategist for the GOP was interviewed this afternoon on CNN. He was questioned about the negative interchanges and the obvious dislike the candidates have for each other. He maintains the belief that everyone will unite behind the eventual nominee.

After what we've witnessed the last dew debates... there is no way in hell the GOP will come together this fall. NO WAY!

Unless HRC is in jail come November... this will be a landslide for the DEMS. The GOP will lose the Senate. The Supreme Court will not have a new conservative.

Tough to be a Republican these days and watch your Party disintegrate before your eyes.

BTW: I mentioned the jail comment because our GOP friends are convinced that is the only way they can win this fall.

It hurts to watch this.

I think it would be better if each candidate talked alone for thirty minutes.

I considered it virtually unwatchable and a part of that is brought to bear by the format of these made for TV "debates". While we were all watching, but not paying attention very well, these "debates" have been morphed into entertainment spectacles by the networks, designed to draw out sound bites and zingers that can be "analyzed" ad nauseam by the various and multiple talking heads.

There is a gross overemphasis on insults and zingers, which appeal to emotions much more so than logic. To me, it is as if these events are built just to stimulate ratings and "clicks" for a few days and not to inform and educate the public.

If Hill going to jail gives it to Sanders the Ds will win by even bigger margins according to the polls. Hill going to jail might be something we could all unite behind.

My point is that this GOP field has deteriorated into nothing more than an "insult contest". And that is insulting to the American voter.

The powers that be at the RNC have allowed their Party to be controlled by split factions. No clear message, no plan to unite, and a Party that has promoted partisan politics for their own selfish interests.

In fairness...Kasich has not gotten into this insult-fest like the others have. Let's give him credit for that.

Kasich is the biggest fraud of those on the stage. He's an absolute ass away from the cameras and has a poor reputation along his peers regardless of what he sells you. He's playing games just like the rest trying this I'm above this fighting shtick but he's a fake. Anyone who has followed him or watched some of the nonsense he's spewed over the years knows he's a fake. He gets away with it because no one knew who the hell he was before this campaign. If he's the nominee, I'm not voting. He won't ever get my vote.
The problem in this whole thing is the old guard of the republican party, the establishment idiots. They're the ones causing this nonsense, not the guys on the stage. I wish ALL if those people, John Boehner, Mitch McConnell, John McCain, the idiot old guard. They all need to go. They along with idiots like Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi are EXACTLY why there should be term limits for congressmen and women just like for President.
Trump has taken a beating in the last two debates and regardless of polls, he's lost both debates. Rubio has gotten the best of him in both debates. It doesn't matter though because those who support Trump will trumpet him as a winner and support him no matter what.

What would you rather have, a guy pretending to be an adult or a guy pretending to be a child?

Is Kasich's record a fraud then? Does he fall into success or does he actually have a hand in it?

Everyone who has ever done anything remotely positive in this world has at one time or another pissed somebody off. Kasich is no different.

Have never heard this of Kasich. Trump got thumped tonight. I think his numbers will decline this week.

A big problem is that most of you people seem to want to elect a dictator, not a president.

I have had the opportunity to meet Kasich a couple times, once many years ago before he was governor of Ohio and I found him to be quite pleasant and engaging. He had no reason to gab with me, but had no problem doing so. I think you are wrong about John Kasich.

Imo, Kasich came across as the better candidate last nite. His obvious problem is that he's so far behind that it will be nearly impossible to close the gap substantially in the next few weeks.

This turd fight at the top is truly disgusting. I think voters saw last evening why HRC will shit stomp whomever the GOP presents.

When pressed, Trump really struggles on specifics. RubioBot comes across as immature. CrookedCruz appears like a slimy used car salesman.

This strategy from Romney to appear at this late stage is puzzling. Did the GOP big donor base urge him on this? At this point it's hard to see how to stop Trump. And even if they do... his supporters will either not vote or vote Dem to spite the Republican base.

There is simply no way in hell the GOP wins in November.

listening on the radio, Kasich sounded great, which disqualifies him in 2016. one must be outrageous right now

I like Kasich but I think he is too far behind.

Trump would be wise to take home as his VP if he gets that far. Kasich would have the experience without the slime that drips off most politicians.
