**Official Fox News Republican Debate**

exactly but methinks Kasich might not want in that administration, I dunno why I just think it. I'm wondering if ben carson might not want in either
Kasich is old enough that I doubt he has much political life left after this cycle. I think he would take the offer in a heartbeat.

We will never again see Carson in politics. He may take an appointed position in a Trump cabinet, but his fifteen minutes of fame on stage are over. He was badly exposed as uninformed and he's not quick enough on his feet.

LIke others have said, the Kasich being above it all is nonsense. The reason he can play that game is because nobody up there pays any attention to him. Rubio tried to play the exact same game, but he was actually perceived as a threat, so the stakes tend to change. It's kind of like the first Obama Romney debate where Obama tried to act "Presidential" and came off as weak after Romney criticized him for two hours. Kasich was known for being just the opposite until he came up with this little ole me schtick for the campaign.

Exactly right! He's gotten away with it because no one knew him or cared who he was when this started. He's a fraud and a phony, and he does not have a good reputation along his peers. He's the LAST person I would vote for in this race. I will stay home if he's the Republican nominee. He would be a nightmare as President.

Kasich was elected nine times to Congress and won reelection as Governor with 64% of the vote (and 86 out of 88 counties). The only ones who expressed dissatisfaction with him was a handful of tea party types who were angry that he actually governed and worked with Democrats on some issues. Obviously not angry enough to put up a candidate to challenge him in the primary.
