Easy fellas...one half of football does not a season make.
Nate Stanley ended 2 drives by trying to throw difficult passes, when all he had to do was tuck it and run for a couple of yards when there was a lot of green in front of him.

How? How about its 30 minutes into the first game. Only like Ohio State and Clemson looked like world beaters in the first 30 minutes.

Coaches sleepwalking through this? How 'bout some Blitzs on the FR QB and shake him up. How 'bout some of our own pick plays (like MoH) gets away with. I liked the use of the RBs in the passing game. I hate the low percentage passes down field - how 'bout some combo routes to free up the receivers?

I promise to eat crow if we look better in the second half. It’s just frustrating after a whole summer of hype about a revamped offense and stout D to be playing even with a middling MAC school. Just same shit different year feeling.
Yeah, even when they start 1 on 1, they slide a guard down in case the OT starts to get beat. There's no roll outs to the left side. Everything is in the pocket or out to the right. If they can't get pressure other ways, then they will continue to double Epenesa and be free to stretch the field against our somewhat soft secondary.
The DTs could also stand to do a better job of keeping things clogged in the middle, a few too many gaps and cutbacks up the gut means they're getting driven out or overpursuing.

Very uninspired. The defense is lucky to have given up only the one TD. The offense is just that — offensive. Stanley still makes terrible decisions.
