Kaleb Brown in the doghouse?
2 star from What Cheer Iowa better than 4 star from Ohio State. Next game up Kirk will find out just how sound that strategy is.

Thank you to each and everyone you on this board. You make my love of one of the most dysfunctional college football programs understandable. The fungus that is Iowa football can't be killed.
We're all in the same boat. I honestly want to love KF again (it's been many years) but he makes it so hard, so often. Tonight, it's pretty easy, if only temporary, at least, for me.

My dad texted me at halftime "I feel better now than at the start".

I said what the heck have you been drinking hard liqour?? Feeling better down 7 than 0-0 before the game??

Now the man gets to say he was right???
Maybe your dad knows that Iowa needs to be down at halftime so that Kirk will allow Lester to unleash the offense?

He also complimented his line during the PC

“I just really appreciate them for opening up the holes for me and allowing me to do my thing,” Johnson said. “Without them, I’m not Kaleb Johnson. I just give credit to my o-line. My o-line scored them points, not me.”

Other comments:

“We were sitting there at halftime,” Higgins said, “knowing that we were better than that.”

“That’s where they want you. Now all of a sudden it’s like a boa constrictor, and you better start scoring some points really quick,” Gophers coach P.J. Fleck said.

Johnson made the best of his 21 carries by outracing the Gophers to the edges on the stretch zone plays and breaking a bunch of tackles once he cleared the line of scrimmage on other runs inside.

“It’s the small things. It’s the technique. It’s being in the right spots,” said Gophers linebacker Cody Lindenberg, who had 10 tackles and a sack.

After last night's win, the Hawks offense is now #73 in the nation. Just shy of the top 50 percentile. Will probably drop next week due to a bi-week.

Incredible. Credit where credit is due, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t take into consideration the level of competition we’ve faced thus far. Regardless, incredible improvement.

And if another team’s fans did something like this in Kinnick, Hawk fans would be ticked off, calling it “classless” and other things.
Maybe so, BUT any team whose fan base cheers "who hates Iowa, WE hate Iowa", when they're playing OTHER teams, deserves to have their pig snouts rubbed in it NINE out of the last 11 games. Screw them.....
