Also, the drive and kick is there. Creighton has been so engraved to collapse anytime the ball goes in the paint, that a controlled drive and kickoff, plus an extra pass or two should lead to an open 3.

It was still 6 on 6 (or really 3 on 3) when I graduated in ‘86. I think Jane Jensen was one of the last stars from that era.
