Fran needs to recruit well built bigger guys and hire a "rugby defense" coach, because its the only they're really gonna compete in today's NCAA world.
Sure, offense is really pretty when it works, but its this all-out football/refs won't call everything defense that is what really wins most games for teams these days.

I am so disappointed in Kris's play. Not sure what is going on but he looks completely out of it.
Yes...story of being Iowa fan.....Football get beat by elite athletes of Michigan/OSU. Play basketball and
can compete in B1G but once we face real teams in NCAA tourney, get a beatdown and leave early.
We don't want to play this TCU team in ncaa tourney...need somewhat soft team like Clemson.
Lot of games left to improve but right now Kris is not near Keegan’s level. Especially true at finishing around the basket and using either hand.
Y’all play zero defense and have no toughness. You’ll outscore teams on good nights and win at home often but it will not work in the NCAA. Such is Fran though.

They have no shooters. It's a mystery to me why we haven't played zone every second of this game.
does okay in B1G....the B1G as a whole sucks when NCAA tourney rolls around.
because we wouldn't get any rebounds...you can't rebound out of zone and these guys feast on 2nd shot.
